After missioning for 20km and throwing up a powder type dust over all the villagers along the way we finally got to Lake Shala & Chitu. A Park Ranger took us down to the lake side and allowed us to pick our tree along the water edge, where we camped for the night. At night you heard Flamingoes flying overhead but the flocks where so big that it sounded like a swarm of mosquitoes.
The next day the ranger took us down to the hot springs and to see the Flamingoes which must have numbered around 10,000. Lake Chitu (the bottom photograph) is a lake in the bottom of a volcano, villagers bring their cows and clothes to clean and the flamingoes are on the left (out of picture).
