Lake Turkana

What an amazing place and adventure. Would I do it again, YES, would I do it again by ourselves again, YES!!! If it rained this area would be a nightmare but luckily it didn’t. One note if you were to do it, don’t go via North Horr but rather along the lake between Loiyangalani and the park, the road is remote and specatular. There are loads of river crossing but none are to technical, unless it rained and then you’d need two vehicles just four safety. Bush camping is a must especially when you are between Maralal and Loiyangalani, there really are some spectacular stops.
