Meru & Aberdare NP

Before Nairobi we tucked into Meru and Aberdare NP. Awesome, we were the only people in the campsites and never saw any vehicle in the parks. Meru is spectacular and really feels like you have the park to yourself and it really gives you the Africa feel. Aberdare is completely different, thick jungle with clearings which harbor the game, insane amount of buffalo and elephant….close-ups galore!!! Did we see the big 5, NO however we saw a leopard and her daughter on one night in Aberdare and the second we saw another leopard, oh…..and we saw a cheetah in Meru:-) Still no Leons…….
